At Accomco we take the safety and security of tenants very seriously. This begins on the first day that they move in: we insist that tenants are personally briefed on where to find, and if necessary isolate, all the incoming services to their house. Thereafter we are proud to provide a '24hr commitment to service' where tenants can call us for advice at any time.
Tenants are provided contact details via a secure online area to which only they have access. In an emergency, this allows them to reach an Accomco representative 24 hours a day for assistance. Where required, we can arrange immediate repairs or even alternative accommodation. Less serious problems will be addressed by one of our trusted tradespeople during working hours.
All of our properties benefit from gas central heating. As required by law, all of our gas appliances are tested annually. Gas Safe certificates can be provided on request. Electrical testing is carried out every five years as recommended by our contractors. All of our properties are secured with quality locks and doors on all points of entry.
Finally, it is important to remember that we do not insure students’ posessions whilst they remain in any of our properties. We recommend that you seek professional advice regarding a policy that provides suitable cover.
